ON-LINE SUPPORT GROUPS / PROGRAMS / RECOVERY ORGANIZATIONS:

  1. The Sober Club by Janey Lee Grace. The Sober Club includes an on-line private Facebook group with a ton of resources, expert webinars, blogs, etc. Your 1-Year subscription to The Sober Club is included in my 6-month Reach New Heights Signature Coaching Package to continue your learning and benefit from an on-line group with others at various stages along the alcohol-free journey.

  2. The Sober Club has other accredited sobriety coaches with a range of experience levels, backgrounds, and approaches. Check out the “Find a Coach” page to see your options.

  3. The Alcohol Experiment (30 Day program + on-line community) by Annie Grace, author of This Naked Mind.

  4. This Naked Mind’s (TNM)  5-Day Virtual Event. TNM does these events about once per month. It’s about 1.5 hours / day over Zoom. Once you sign up for anything from TNM, you’ll be on their mailing list and will hear about all of the events they offer (some paid, some free).

  5. SoberSis: “Sober-Minded Sisterhood” by Jenn Kautch. This is a 21-Day “Reset” Challenge with a bit of a Christian slant.

  6. The Luckiest Club by Laura McKowen. TLC also has tons of options with meetings, group coaching, events, etc.

  10. The Sober Summit, hosted by Maggie Klaussen on Facebook. This is a 3-Day event twice / year (spring and winter) with pre-recorded interviews. There’s an “upgrade” option for various bonuses from the speakers.

TRACKING APPS:

  • Sunnyside Mindful Drinking (tracks your days, spending, calories, etc. Allows you to set targets for the day/week) if you’re giving “moderation” a try (it didn’t work for me, but to each their own!)

  • “I Am Sober” (a counter with motivational quotes and journal option)

  • “Nomo” (simply a counter that counts days. You can set multiple clocks for various things you’re tracking; e.g., drinking, cigarettes, etc.)

  • “Try Dry” is another app.
